Who we are

Who we are

Cerebral Palsy Alliance provides family-centred therapies, life skills programs, equipment and support for people and their families living with cerebral palsy and other neurological and physical disabilities.

At Cerebral Palsy Alliance our priority is to help babies, children, teenagers and adults living with neurological and physical disabilities lead the most comfortable, independent and inclusive lives possible. Our therapy teams work with individuals and families to maximise their participation in the community.

The Cerebral Palsy Alliance operates from 55 sites throughout metropolitan, regional and rural NSW and the ACT.

For over a decade we have been driving international research into the prevention, treatment and cure of cerebral palsy through our CPA research Foundation.

We’ve dedicated millions of dollars to the study and implementation of prevention, and committed ourselves to the advancement of treatments for those living with cerebral palsy. The reason we’re here today is that a cure is possible, and our Cerebral Palsy Research Institute and Foundation are determined to find it.

The establishment of the Research Institute, is part of our commitment to designing a consolidated international roadmap for cerebral palsy research. Together, we have built a foundation that has made great progress in prevention strategies and treatments, and put cerebral palsy on the map for the world’s research community.

Research is the journey between where we are now and where we want to be. For the families we work with each and every day, research is the hope for a life lived to its complete potential.

We imagine a world where people with disability are fully included, active and contributing members of society, realising their full potential. Technological innovation has the potential to reduce barriers and become a powerful driver of inclusion.

Remarkable is Australia’s first disability tech accelerator. We connect inclusive start-ups with the capital, expertise and skills they need to succeed. Our award winning* 16-week accelerator program has been tailored to early stage start-ups looking to build sustainable enterprises that have a big social impact.
