Karate Program for Newcastle Residents with a Disability

Cerebral Palsy Alliance is currently running a Karate Program at it’s Stuart Centre in Newcastle for children, teens and adults with cerebral palsy.

The program is being run by Sensei Cherie Fenlon from GKR Karate  and will focus on strengthening motor skills and increasing self-confidence.

Particpants are learning self-defence moves, like 5 year old David (pictured) who was shown how to get away from someone grabbing his shirt!
