On Thursday 1 October the NDIA will be hosting two webinars on the NDIS roll out (one for NSW and one for Victoria).

– NSW (10:00am – 11:00am AEST) – Click here to watch the NSW webinar
– VIC (1:00pm – 2:00pm AEST) – Click here to watch the VIC webinar

These sessions will be focused on providing information to people living in areas where the Scheme will soon be available, (as detailed in the bilateral agreements). Hear from our panel as they discuss their experiences of the NDIS trial to date and what you can expect as the Scheme is delivered across NSW and Victoria.

On 16 September 2015, the bilateral agreements for the roll out of the NDIS in New South Wales and Victoria were signed by governments. It is expected that almost 245,000 Australians will ultimately be covered by the NDIS in New South Wales and Victoria. Negotiations on bilateral agreements are continuing between the Commonwealth and the other state and territory governments.

The NDIS is being introduced in stages, because it’s a big change and it is important to get it right and make it sustainable. Existing service users and new participants will enter the scheme progressively.

The webinar is a great opportunity to ask questions on how you might access the Scheme and what you can do to prepare.
