Nine year old Alex has recently had reconstructive surgery to his foot and ankle. But why is he holding a Playstation 4? His mum shared their story about living with cerebral palsy and how with the help of our physiotherapists and his amazing family he is now up and walking.

Hearing his story and that his 10th birthday was coming up, the team from Westfield Community Fund pooled their own money to win him the Playstation at the recent Westfield Golf Day. We think his smile says it all. 100 per cent of the funds raised from the Westfield Golf Day were donated to us.

That’s $73,298 to provide services to those living with cerebral palsy in our community. These funds will help us provide therapy services and equipment as well as hydrotherapy support for people living with a disability.

The program is a fun experience for children and their families to learn water safety, movement, play and social skills with an exprerienced physiotherapist. A massive THANK YOU to Westfield, all the staff, sponsors, supporters and those who attended to raise funds and have fun.

What an amazing community!
