Cerebral Palsy Alliance’s Prairiewood Leisure Links program recently hosted a ‘movie and chill out night’ for young people living with a disability.

Staff worked hard to transform our Prairiewood site into a cinema space with a games area in the foyer where clients could brush up on their card skills.

Prior to the screening of the ‘Lego Movie’, everyone tucked into some delicious pizza – a must have to any great movie night!

Leisure Links coordinator Linda Mitchell said the event was a great success.

‘There was a really great atmosphere on the night with many of the clients attending re-connecting with old school mates and friends made through the Leisure Links program.’

The movie night was the first collaboration between Leisure Links Coordinator, Linda Mitchell and Tony Petrin who has a passion for event and recreation planning and is currently studying Leisure and Health at TAFE.
