We have some great school holiday activities for young people to have some fun, make some new friends, catch up with existing ones and learn some new skills. 

 

NAIDOC week Art: Create your own artwork that captures Aboriginal culture.

Time: 10am – 4pm

Date: Monday 3 July 2017

Location: Cerebral Palsy Alliance, Level 1 17-21 Macquarie Street, Parramatta

 

Sportsfitz Boot Camp: Get smashed with our gym junkies in an intensive ‘boot camp’ style strength and conditioning week long camp.

Time: 10am – 2pm

Date: Monday 3- Friday 7 July 2017 OR Monday 10 – Friday 14 July 2017

Location: 187 Allambie Rd Allambie Heights

 

Wild Independence is all about young people exploring new challenges in a fun and safe outdoor environment. Participants will participate in a range of wild activities including building a fire and creating and sharing a meal together.

Time: 10am – 3pm

Date: Tuesday 4 July 2017

Location: Western Sydney Parklands. Nurragingy Reserve, Grevillea (entrance via Woodstock Avenue)

 

Young Change Agents is a social entrepreneurship program for 14 to 17 year olds. The program provides participants with the tools to think creatively and build skills in critical thinking and communication. Students will be empowered to believe they are good enough to be entrepreneurs, leaders and world changes.

Time: 9.30am – 4pm daily.

Date: Wednesday 5 – Friday 7 July 2017

Location: Cerebral Palsy Alliance, Level 1/17-21 Macquarie Street, Parramatta

 

Food Adventure: Let’s travel in our own backyard and go on a food adventure.

Time: 10am – 4pm

Date: Thursday 6 July 2017

Location: meet up at various points across Sydney 

 

Get Your Art On: Develop your creativity through art, learn how to express yourself through various techniques and using different paints including oils, watercolour and more!

Time: 10am – 4pm

Drum Beats: BANG BANG BANG on the drum! Let’s have some fun and find our inner rhythm together.

Bring some money to buy your lunch (or BYO lunch)

Location:  6 Stanley Street St Ives (travel support can be provided from Allambie)

 

Master Switch: Work on your choice making and communication while preparing some delicious meals using a switch!

Time: 10am – 4pm

Balls and Beers (or pink lemonade) 18+: this social event is a chance to hang out, strike up a conversation, meet some new people and have fun.

Time: 3pm – 7pm
