Volunteers needed – Hydro therapy pool – Tuesday Afternoon

Are you energetic, patient and love the water? Do you enjoy getting out into the community, meeting new people and working with children with a disability?

We are seeking motivated, positive individuals to volunteer with our aqua program on Tuesday afternoons from 3.30pm – 4.30pm at our Allambie Heights Campus.  If this sounds like you, apply now for this rewarding opportunity! Aquability is a pool-based-fitness program, offering a variety of fun activities for children with a disability.

The program is designed to maintain mobility and maximise fitness for the children attending and is run by our amazing Health and Wellbeing staff who will support you throughout the program. Volunteers assist clients one-on-one in the pool.  It would be an advantage if you have experience with people with a disability, but this is not essential.

If you’re an allied health student currently at university, volunteering with the Cerebral Palsy Alliance will support you to gain skills and experience that will be invaluable when you’re ready to take on your first professional role.

At the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, we pride ourselves on our high-quality family-centred therapies, life skills programs, equipment and support for people living with cerebral palsy and their families. Our priority is to support people living with cerebral palsy to lead an independent and inclusive life.
