Early Intervention Group -Support Volunteer – Tuggerah NSW

Our unique program is a holistic approach, bringing together group learning and individualised therapies, always delivered by an experienced and dedicated team. The volunteer will support the teachers and therapists to deliver a great beneficial program, all whilst having fun. 

 

Start Date: 4th Term
Days: Monday & Thursday (either day)
Length of program: 8 weeks
Time: 9am to midday and then any time you can give after

Program objectives will include: 
• Developing self regulation skills
• Developing social skills
• Fostering emotional wellbeing
• Developing gross and fine motor skills
• Developing communication and language skills
• Establishing foundational skills for learning
• Fostering play and imitating skills
• Advancing daily living skills
• Generalising skills across environments
• Sensory development skills

 

The volunteer will help set up and pack down the group, make resources, help plan games and activities, support the parents and most importantly – join in the fun!
