Important Information for all volunteers

Six Simple Steps to becoming a Volunteer

  1. Browse the opportunities listed for a volunteer opportunity that interests you
  2. Apply directly as per the advertisement and one of our friendly volunteer coordinators will be in contact
  3. Meet with a volunteer coordinator for an informal interview
  4. Fill out an Volunteer enrolment form and Police Check Form (some roles will also require a Working with Children Check)
  5. Attend a volunteer induction session
  6. You’re in! Start volunteering.

Full volunteer induction before you start

Induction sessions are held to help you learn about Cerebral Palsy Alliance, cerebral palsy and what it takes to be a great volunteer.Your volunteer coordinator will let you know when and where the next session will be held. For some roles, additional online training will be provided.

Volunteer Policies

We have comprehensive policies in place to provide clarity about rights, responsibilities and expectations for both volunteers and Cerebral Palsy Alliance. When you start your new volunteer role you will receive a welcome pack containing the applicable policies. Please make sure you fully understand these policies before you begin as a volunteer.
