Do you know how to exercise right for you and your uniqueness? This is the focus of Exercise Right Week 2016 and we are here to help you. We have some amazing team who want to help you do the right exercises for your body to meet your goals.

But who can help you, especially if you have a range of needs. Just make sure that you talk to your doctor before start any new exercise regime. There are two key people you can turn to for getting started and to keep on going:

An Exercise Physiologist (EP) would get you started on your journey.

Who is an EP? They are an Allied Health professional that specialise in clinical exercise interventions for persons at high-risk of developing, or with existing chronic and complex medical conditions and injuries.

What do they do? They would help you set appropriate goals, measure your current level of fitness and strength and also write an exercise program that is appropriate for your unique goals.

An EP can work in a clinic, hospital, gym or private practice.

A Personal Trainer (PT) is great for the ongoing maintenance of your program and are skilled in keep you motivated.

What do they do? Implement, evaluate and modify exercise for persons with specific conditions under the guidance of medical or allied health professional.

A PT usually work in a gym setting or can also work in a community setting (ie. Park, home based).

Generally an EP gets your program started, the PT keeps you going and with regular check-ins with your EP.
