About Packforce

Packforce is a packing, assembly and mail fulfilment business that offers supported employment for people with a disability. There are two Packforce sites in metropolitan Sydney. People with a disability are employed as table hand process workers and on-the-job training is provided.

Who is Eligible?

Our employees:

  • Have a permanent disability
  • Are of working age
  • Have the capacity to work at least 8 hours a week
  • Need ongoing assistance in the workplace to retain employment
  • Have the ability to meet minimum productivity levels
  • Are Australian residents.

When is it Available?

Frenchs Forest opens Monday – Friday, 8.00 am – 4.00 pm. Wetherill Park opens Monday - Thursday, 8.00 am – 4.30 pm and Friday 8.00 am – 2.30 pm.

Cost

There is no cost to the employee, apart from taxi costs to get to and from work (if applicable). Our staff are paid a training wage for approximately 3 months until they are independently assessed to determine their productivity level. They are then paid a wage based on that assessment.
